AUSTIN, Texas – Air Force junior India Jones was named an Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators this morning (July 15), as the association announced its selections to the 2025 Academic All-American Division I Women’s Track & Field / Cross Country Team. Jones, one of two women from the Mountain West to be honored by the CSC, was designated with third-team status.
Jones, a biology major with a 3.79 GPA, was an NCAA Qualifier in the 10,000-meter run. A back-to-back CSC Academic All-District selection, Jones was a scoring member of the cross country team in every race she contested – headlined by the Falcons’ No. 2 finish at the NCAA Mountain Regional (48th). A top-20 finisher at the Mountain West Championships, Jones held the women to a runner-up team finish at Pre-Nationals and a top-10 finish placement at the Gans Creek Classic.
